A FREE Landlord Information Evening is being held at the Civic Offices later this month.
All property landlords are invited to attend the event on Thursday 19th October.
The National Landlords Association will be giving a presentation on recent and upcoming developments in the sector.
A number of optional workshops will be available for landlords to choose from, including Fire Safety for Landlords and Managing Houses in Multiple Occupation. HGR Accountancy Ltd will also be on hand to cover tax updates for landlords and the topic of making tax digital.
Guests will have the opportunity to speak to a wide variety of teams from Reading Borough Council and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking.
Cllr John Ennis, Reading’s Lead Councillor for Housing, who is also attending said:
“The private rented accommodation sector plays an important role in Reading and the Council offers a range of services both for property landlords and tenants.
“The annual Landlord Information Evening is a great chance for landlords to have an informal chat with council officers and to find out about any upcoming changes in regulations and legislation from the experts.
“I would encourage the town’s landlords to come along and take advantage of the opportunity and to network and share information with others in the industry.”
The Landlord Information Evening will open at 6.30pm with presentations starting at 7pm.
All landlords are welcome. To book a place, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, or phone (0118) 937 4209.
